The Forest Lodge Library (FLL) in Cable, WI seeks a responsible and community-minded Library Director with a vision for our library’s future. The ideal candidate will commit to providing equitable and inclusive library services; supervise, inspire, and evaluate staff; and build relationships with our whole community. Located in the heart of downtown Cable, the library facility is one of two log cabin libraries in the State of Wisconsin. The Cable/Namakagon area is home to some of the finest trail systems anywhere in Wisconsin, including miles of well-groomed snowmobile, ATV/UTV, hiking, and world class ski and mountain bike trails. The FLL prides itself as being the learning center of its growing community and the place people turn to for the discovery of ideas, the joy of reading, and the power of information. As a member of the Northern Waters Library System (NWLS) , FLL patrons have access to materials from 29 different libraries. With support from NWLS, the FLL actively pursues opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.
