Transparent Languages is yet another great new resource available to Forest Lodge Library patrons, and all patrons of the Northern Waters Library Network. Transparent Languages is a very robust resource, offering instruction in 120+ languages, including American Sign Language and English for native speakers of other languages, like Ukranian. All you need is a library card and you’re on your way to being conversant in your language of choice!
You really have to investigate it to appreciate it. Lessons start very simply and allow you to gain mastery in reading, writing, speaking…and listening, including pronunciation assistance. You can set your own goals for learning and learn at your own pace. There are special units in language for travel. Check it out…you’re going to love it!
