During the week of June 17th – 20th, Director Westlund was able to travel with some of the Drummond Area School District students and staff, which also included her son, to Washington D.C.! While they were there, they were able to visit the Library of Congress. Director Westlund was very grateful to current and former staff who worked and covered all areas of the Forest Lodge Library while she was away. We really have the most amazing staff! Many thanks to them! It was an amazing opportunity and trip.
The Library of Congress is the world’s largest library in the world, with millions of books, films and videos, audio recordings, photographs, newspapers, maps and manuscripts in its collections. The Library is the main research arm of the U.S. Congress and the home of the U.S. Copyright Office.
