On Thursday, October 10th, the Book House made its move to its new location!
The Book House, adjacent to and just west of the Forest Lodge Library, had been functioning as the location for ongoing book sales since the summer of 2017.
In preparation for the new library expansion, the Book House needed to be sold and relocated so that we could move forward with the plans for the expansion.
Much work was done to prepare for this day! Katie Flowers Endowment volunteers and other volunteers worked to finish up book sales throughout this past summer. They also worked hard to clear out any other furniture items that were still inside that needed to be moved or relocated. It was a lot of work!
Once finished, the new house owners were able to make necessary arrangements and get the house on its way.
