The Forest Lodge Library Board of Trustees Seeks New Board Member!
The role of Trustee is vital to the success of the library. Trustees participate as members of a team to protect and advance the interest of the library. It is a serious commitment that involves important and gratifying work for your community.
The Forest Lodge Library is seeking an individual with the desire to serve on its Board of Trustees beginning in February of 2025. This vacancy can be filled by someone from the Cable, Namakagon, or surrounding communities. Appointments are for a three-year term, and trustees are eligible to serve a second, full three-year term.
Roles of Trustee members include, but are not limited to:
- prepare for and attend monthly Board meetings,
- function as library advocates in the community,
- participate in the development of library policies,
- work with the Library Director to identify and address community library needs.
