Paws and Claus: Holiday Tales with Tails

December 7 @ 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

At 2 PM:

  • Local author, Mark Parman, will share stories, his writing and talk about his recent third book – Upland Matters. He has a special Christmas story to share for the afternoon. He will have copies of his third book for purchase and can sign them as well.

Mark taught English and journalism in the UW

System for 27 years before retiring to Seeley.

There he lives with his wife, Susan, and two English setters, Jenkins

and Lewis. He enjoys both writing and reading. 

Previously published books of his include: A Grouse Hunter’s

Almanac: The Other Kind of Hunting; and Among the Aspen:

Northwoods Grouse and Woodcock Hunting.  

At 2:30 PM:

Director Amanda Westlund will have her 12 year old

German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees – Coco – at the library!

Coco loves snuggles and sitting next anyone who would like to read to her.  

  • Hot Cocoa and Cookies will be served as well!
  • A Drawing for a Doggie Themed Gift Basket for 

‘Paws & Claus’ attendees at 3PM – need not be present to win.
