On Friday August 23rd downtown Cable, WI will welcome the 2nd Annual Vintage Cycle Tour. This event is presented as a fundriser for the Cable-Namakagon Historical Museum and will showcase dozens of vintage bicycles.Supportive businesses in the downtown Cable area will display the historic two wheelers for your viewing enjoyment. The walking or cycling tour begins and ends at the new Portage Park Cable on the corner of County Highway M and US Highway 63 in Cable. The tour begins at 1:00 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. A Tour Checklist and map will guide participants to the viewing locations.
Tour checklists can be picked up at participating display locations and is available online on the Cable/Namakagon Historical Museum Facebook page or here: Vintage Cycle Tour Map 2019. At each location volunteers will initial your list to confirm your visit. When completed the Tour Checklist is turned in at the Portage Park Cable event headquarters to be entered in random prize drawings from the event sponsors at 6:00 p.m.
