February IS “love your library month.” Well…we love you, too! How about a date?!?!?
We’ve created a little contest. A game that can be played by one or two. C’mon into the library and pick-up a game-card. Each has five “tasks” identified. Complete three and we’ll include you in a drawing to win gift cards to local eateries…or other prizes. Anyone of any age can play. Or you can play WITH a date. (who could be your partner, your friend or your child.) (maybe not your dog.)
Tasks/questions are things like:
Find a book you can’t believe your date never read or a film they’ve never seen. Or…
Find a book written by or about someone from the Cable area. Or…
Find a look you love in a magazine. Or…
Look through the cookbooks and find something to make for dinner. All fun, easy, stuff, and, yes…of course you can consult with your librarian, the library catalog…or even Google!
This contest will commence on Valentine’s Day, Monday, Feb. 14th and will wrap on Feb. 28th.
You can pick up & return an actual game card…or you can email your answers, or play via FB. IF you can’t come in to pick up a card, we’d be happy to mail or email you one! Just give us a call at 715-798-3189 or email us at cablelibrary@cable.wislib.org.
