We are pleased to report that we are accepting book and material donations again! As in prior years, those wishing to donate items are asked to put them inside the vestibule at the back door of the Book House. If you haven’t brought them in containers you can leave, please come to the library and we’ll hook you up with some empty boxes!
Posted below is a chart of what is and what is not acceptable. PLEASE do not unload moldy, smoke-damaged books or old encyclopedia sets on us! This sort of item should go straight to recycling…or garbage. Sorry to say, but, no, no one wants them.
While we don’t have a schedule yet, plans are to have the Book House open most Saturdays during the summer and, of course, the 4th of July and Fall Fest. Volunteers to staff the Book House are always needed. If you’re interested, please give us a call at 715-798-3189 or email Director Kristine Lendved at klendved@cable.wislib.org and we’ll get your name and contact information to the volunteer coordinator.
As of 5/11/2022 the Book House is scheduled to be staffed and open 5/28, 6/4, 6/11 and 6/18. We’re getting piles of fresh donations, so…there’ll be fresh titles on the shelves!
