A Novel Affair – Sunday, August 14th – 11 -2 – On Library & Book House grounds
All are cordially invited to attend a Novel Affair scheduled for Sunday, August 14th. This annual showcase of library services will offer you an opportunity to learn how to use Libby, our access to digital books, audio books and magazines and Kanopy, access to a streaming service that includes The Great Courses! Yes! All you need is a library card, and, if you don’t have one, you can get one on the 14th!
There will be a MAKERSPACE event where you can learn how to make beads from recycled paper and build a necklace, or how to craft bracelets, wallets or bookmarks out of duct tape. 
Tracy Krueger will provide music on the back patio for your appreciation and enjoyment. Bring a chair!
The BOMB DOG food truck will be on hand purveying lunch. And…while their dogs are GREAT…and, sadly, the lobster rolls are no longer available…they WILL be offering crawdad rolls. Supply of those will be limited…so, if that’s your pleasure, show up and order early!
The Book House will be open and there will be yard games set up in the yard behind.
Golden Girl Getty and her person, Wendy, will be on the premises offering puppy love and the opportunity to read to a wonderful dog!
