The Katie Flowers Endowment is the fundraising arm of the Forest Lodge Library…and THEY could use a hand! With a public fundraising campaign on the horizon, the Katie Flowers Endowment (KFE) Board could use assistance with everything from grant-writing to data management.
Unlike the Forest Lodge Library Board, board size and residency requirements are not defined by State Statute. The KFE By-Laws permit the addition of Directors to its Board and those serving do not need to reside in Cable or Namakagon. Those serving would be appointed for a one-year term with additional one-year terms available. Appointment would be by the Forest Lodge Library Board of Trustees. Meetings are monthly in conjunction with the Forest Lodge Library Board meeting and may be in person or virtual dependent upon individual schedules…and health.

Katie Flowers Endowment Board of Directors
Are you passionate about libraries and your community? Please consider serving on The Katie Flowers Endowment Board of Directors.
The role of Director is vital to the success of the library and its plans to expand. In particular, we are looking for persons with skills related to fundraising, grant writing, event planning and support, marketing, and/ or database management or experience using similar competencies.
The term of service will commence in April 2023 upon appointment by the Forest Lodge Library Board of Trustees and expire one year from the start date. The individual serving will be eligible to serve additional one-year terms and may be eligible for Library Trustee vacancies.
Katie Flowers Endowment is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization for the Forest Lodge Library, a joint library of the Towns of Cable and Namakagon. Its purpose is to provide financial support to the library.
