Somehow summer is flying by…and we need to celebrate summer! All are invited to a READING CARNIVAL on Thursday, July 20th from 1 until 3. There will be crafts and games for kids…make a warrior mask…or a finger puppet! There will be scavenger hunts for all ages and this will also be the launch of an All Ages Summer Reading Challenge. YOU decide how many books you want to challenge yourself to read! Completing your challenge will score you an ice cream treat from Rondeau’s freezer and enter your name in a drawing for additional prizes.
We welcome a special guest…Dalton Hessel, AKA “The Northern Nerd.” He’s a Hayward elementary school teacher with a podcast…and we’ll be asking him to ask YOU what you love about the library.
