You will, we hope, have heard something about the Town of Cable Plan Commission’s mandated review and update of the Town of Cable Comprehensive Land Use Plan. There have been several public meetings on the subject. A copy of the draft update was subject to a 30 day review and was available for review online and in hard copy here at the Forest Lodge Library. A Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 26th. Sometime in October the Town of Cable should adopt (with possible amendments) the updated Comp Plan to inform Town decisions for the next decade.
At this point, the draft is still a draft and the Plan Commission is still open to answering your questions on the subject and hearing your comments on draft contents. The Forest Lodge Library has scheduled a Community Conversation on the subject for Thursday, Sept. 14th at 6:30 at the Forest Lodge Library. This is intended to be a conversation, not a presentation. Plan Commission Chair, Tony Erba, and at least one other Plan Commissioner will be present to answer any questions you might have and record any input you might choose to offer. We very much encourage you attend with any questions and comments you may have!!!
