Recently, the Forest Lodge Library was notified of an additional funding opportunity through the Flexible Facilities Grant.
We had previously been awarded the Flexible Facilities Grant in the amount of $1.86 million dollars. As we have worked through our building process, many of the bids paid for by the Flexible Facilities Grant funding came in under budget. This meant that there was a portion of the original grant would be left over. The Department of Administration recently let us know that we are going to be allowed to use these funds to also cover the costs of some items – such as furniture and shelving – with these leftover funds.
This is amazing news!
The library is very grateful for all of our donors and supporters who have assisted with our new library building project. We are also very grateful to the town of Cable, for their assistance with the Flexible Facilities Grant.
