The activity both inside and outside of the new library building has slowed down a bit. Behind the scenes, much work continues to be done. The Forest Lodge Library Board of Trustees is working with our interior design firm, FEH Design in getting bids for the Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment for the new building. A public opening of these bids will be held on Tuesday, April 21st at 3 p.m. The public may join via zoom or come to the Cable Community Centre.
The fence has come down from around the outside of the building. Next steps that will be happening are that landscaping, sidewalks, slab for pavilion, garden area, and parking lot. These items are set to be starting late May to early June.
