Thanks to the Northern Waters Library Service system and grant funds from LSTA, the Library, Science and Technology Act, we were able to enhance the reach of our 24/7 wifi signal! Technically it’s a Unifi wireless mesh access point…we call it “the new gizmo.” It improves accessibility anywhere in the vicinity of the log cabin library. As long as the weather holds, you’re welcome to sit at the picnic table east of the building or in the chairs on the patio behind. You can even sit in your car, but, PLEASE…do not, DO NOT park in the no-parking area. White diagonal lines painted mean it’s a no parking zone.
And a caution…this is not secure wireless. Please keep that in mind as you consider online activities!
