Thursday, November 2nd from 10 a.m. until noon at the Cable Community Centre
The Forest Lodge Library welcomes Sarah Boles and Smart Moves, an adaptive/rhythmic movement program. Smart Moves was developed in conjunction with SMART, (SeeMyArt) a not-for-profit corporation that inspires, empowers, validates, and supports people with all abilities through art.
Smart Moves is based on BrainDance, a flexible framework of movement patterns using imagery, improvisation, and simple dance moves. These exercises are adaptive for those with mobility challenges and can be done seated.
Interested parties, caregivers and friends are all very welcome to attend. Come prepared to participate in comfortable clothes and shoes.
This program will be held on Thursday, November 2 from 10-12 at the Cable Community Centre. You do not need to register and there is no cost to participate. Sarah does hope to establish this as an ongoing class, so, this is an opportunity to check it out on a no cost, no commitment basis. We hope to see you there!
