The Town of Cable has three individuals who have placed their names in contention for the Town Chairmanship, which necessitates a Primary Election. In an effort to give the prospective candidates an opportunity to talk about why they are running, and area voters a chance to hear from them, the Forest Lodge Library has scheduled a Candidate’s Forum on Monday, February 4th at 6:30 at the Cable Community Centre. Library Director Kristine Lendved will serve as Moderator.
Those running for the Town Chairman position are David Popelka, Kathy Zuelsdorff and Brett Rondeau. If you have a question you’d like to hear the candidates address, please forward your question to Director Lendved at klendved@cable.wislib.org or call the library at 715-798-3189. Paper will be available so those attending the Candidate’s Forum will also have an opportunity to submit questions that evening.
The Primary Election is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 19th. Electors will vote for one candidate and the top two vote-getters will compete in the Town Board election on April 2nd. For more information on the election, you are encouraged to visit the Town of Cable website at townofcable.org. The Cable Community Centre is located at 13660 County Hwy. M.
