Cable’s Fall Fest is coming up this weekend, Sept. 27 & 28. The Book House will be open both days so you can stock up on book titles for those times you are unable to get to the library! it’s a great place to do some holiday shopping or to stock up on books that can be used for crafting projects. There will be a couple of tents set up on the lawn between the Book House and the library. One will have some sample craft ideas. The other tent will display our proposed Facility Expansion plans, which, if you have not already had a chance to take a look, we hope you will and let us know what you think! Your input is important to us.
Of course, that’s only a tiny portion of all that is happening during Fall Fest! It kicks off with a Northwoods Fish Fry on Friday evening. Saturday morning is the pumpkin pancake breakfast. All day long you can peruse the various vendor booths and food trucks which will be set up downtown or visit the Farmer’s Market. There’ll be special attractions for kids and the car show set up on Cty M is always fun to visit.
